Language Test and Games Night

Liebe Studierende,
bitte denkt daran, dass morgen nach der Vorlesung in Gebäude E2 5, im HS 1, ein in den Vorkurs integrierter Sprachtest stattfinden wird. Für diesen bitten wir euch, wenn möglich, euren Laptop mitzubringen um den Test an diesem auszufüllen. Wie das genau funktioniert, erklären wir euch morgen. Ihr müsst euch insbesondere nicht inhaltlich auf den Test vorbereiten. Er dient nur dazu euch selbst eine realistische Einschätzung zu geben, insbesondere verbleiben eure individuellen Testergebnisse beim Sprachenzentrum und werden nicht mit uns geteilt.
Wichtig ist allerdings, dass ihr euch ein Konto auf der Webseite vom Sprachenzentrum schon heute einrichtet. Das könnt ihr hier tun. Bitte merkt euch eure Benutzerkennung incl. Passwort und habt sie morgen greifbar. Ebenso solltet ihr euch eduroam oder den heute ausgeteilten Gast-WLAN-Zugang für morgen einrichten.
Des Weiteren möchten wir euch auf unseren Spieleabend am Donnerstag aufmerksam machen. Dieser ist eine tolle Gelegenheit, eure Kommilitonen besser kennen zu lernen. Um 17 Uhr geht es in den Seminarräumen (0.14/0.15/0.16) in Gebäude E1 3 los. Diese kennen einige von euch bereits aus ihren Tutorien. Wir sorgen für Spiele, Snacks und Getränke, ihr sorgt für gute Stimmung. Im Laufe des Abends organiseren wir dazu auch eine Pizzabestellung. Bringt dafür bitte Bargeld mit, wenn ihr Pizza möchtet. Wir freuen uns auf euch!

Dear students,
please be reminded that the language test takes place tomorrow right after the lecture, which is in Building E2 5, Lecture Hall 1. The language test and the later language courses are integrated into the prep course. The test is best taken on a laptop, so please bring yours if at all possible. More information will be given tomorrow. Note that the test is mostly intended to give you a proper assesment of your command of the English language. In particular, your results will be kept confidential by the Sprachenzentrum and not be shared with the Prep Course Team.
What you also need for this is an account with the Sprachenzentrum. You can register here. Please remember your user id and your password so that you can log in tomorrow morning. Also, you might want to set up eduroam on your laptop, or set up the guest network login if you got one today.
Further, we want to announce a Games Night on Thursday. This is a great opportunity for you to get to know your fellow students. At 5 pm, we will start in the seminar rooms in E1 3 (rooms 0.14-0.16). Some of you might know these rooms, since also some tutorials take place there. We will bring games, snacks, and drinks, so just show up and have fun! During the evening, we plan on ordering pizza for everyone. If you want a pizza, you need to bring enough cash to pay for it. We are looking forward to meeting you!
